Glatfelter Announces CleanPressCF                                                          Print Solutions Weekly—July 8, 2009

Glatfelter, York, Pa., this week announced CleanPressCF, a new technology to make carbonless CF rolls cleaner,  greener and longer-running while maintaining high imaging quality.  Carbonless CF paper has long been problematic for large jobs.  The buildup of blanket dust usually requires printers to shut down after every roll for a 15-minute wash-up with harsh solvents.  With CleanPressCF, printers can run up to eight mill rolls between wash-ups, which are now possible with a cleaner, water-based solvent, the company said in a news release. “CleanPress builds on the environmental values we’ve established with the NatureSolv Capsule  and our FSC/SFI/PEFC certifications,” said Director of Marketing Melissa Klug. “End users feel great about the greener chemistry, and the fact that their job can be completed with less energy, waste and clean-up.”      CleanPressCF is now standard on all carbonless CF rolls.
