As stated in June’s issue, the graph shown indicated inventory Trends not Levels.

We regret any Confusion this may have caused.

Think outside the box.  Take the dots you find out there|
and connect 'em!

Vision is a double-edged sword. We see things that others don't. We can propose ideas to our prospects that our competition never dreamed of. The problem is to get our customers to share our vision.

First, have the vision. What fits? What if? Why not? Who would object? Can it be done? Should it be done? Can I do it? Just keep asking these kinds of questions and things you did not see will appear.

Step two: share the vision. For safety's sake, share it with your boss. He or she may not see things your way, and better to deal with that up front. Next, take your now modified but not clouded vision into the customer's world. "Have you thought of . . ." is a good start. Let them see your vision and add to it, thus making it their vision.

If you can get the business the old-fashioned way by just asking for it (with a smile and a shoeshine),  do it but if it isn't there for all to see, start looking where others have not looked. It's a big, wide world outside the box of precedent.

Get out there and look for dots to connect.

Bowater Announces New Freesheet Hybrid Paper
Thursday July 6, 2:17 pm ET

GREENVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 2006--Bowater Incorporated (NYSE: BOW - News) today announced availability of BowHybrid FS, the first product in its new family of freesheet hybrid papers. This new product blends bleached kraft pulp with bleached mechanical pulp to provide high strength, hefty bulk and high opacity at light basis weights. These characteristics offer Bowater's customers the chance to address high postal costs with the added benefit of yield savings. The bleached kraft pulp content offers outstanding strength, designed to perform well in demanding converting operations used by direct mailers and other commercial printing applications. BowHybrid FS is also lightly coated to enhance overall printability and reduce ink dot gain when compared to traditional uncoated freesheet products. At a basis weight around 42.5-lb., BowHybrid FS has the thickness and feel of a 50-lb. uncoated freesheet using 42% less wood fiber.
