Brown, President of Brown Paper Company is pleased to announce the addition of Anticosti, a paper sales agency located in Wyckoff, New Jersey, effective July 1. 2004, to its business portfolio. Anticosti will operate as a Division of Brown Paper. In an industry that has experienced a tremendous amount of consolidation over the past 10 years, the combination of the two businesses will provide critical mass to both the company’s suppliers and customers. Brown, which has a significant presence in the converting and communication papers sector of the market, and Anticosti, which has traditionally focused on publication grades, will jointly provide complimentary product lines and services on a global basis. William M. Parrilla, will continue as Managing Director of the Division, reporting to Douglas Brown. Brown Paper is headquartered in Greenwich, CT and also maintains offices in Chicago, IL.
